It looks like a good quality product but as low as my SRT-4 sits, I run over everything from roadkill to beer cans to carboard boxes, not to mention parking garages with the uneven ramps. I'm afraid I'd be pulling over every few miles to see if it was still attached...

I'm a heavy equipment mechanic by trade and have been installing Fumoto valves in every type of vehicle you care to name. Never a single incident of valve failure of any kind. It's a very high quality product the has a very good reputation among professional mechanics. As far as being paranoid about someone draining your oil to do damage, that sounds like a personal issue.
