Default 2007 Dakota 3.7 engine multi engine misfire

I have a 2007 Dakota with 89,000 mile. I just started getting a flashing check engine light and it feels like it misfires. had it checked at Oreilly auto Parts it was indicated multi engine misfire, it comes and goes. The check engine Light will flash on and of then comes on and stays on. truck shutters some and then will smooth back out, its not doing it all the time?

anyone have an Idle of what would be the problem

Plugs, coil packs, bad fuel, vacuum leak, or any number of other things. What have you checked yourself so far?

I have the same year model and similar symptoms. my checking engine like doesn't flash it just comes on and will go off after a few drives. I have my own reader and it's always a random misfire and misfire on cylinder 6. I noticed mine will only do it if I'm in park and idling for awhile. if I don't let it idle very long while in park I never get the check engine light. I have swapped coil packs on number 6 and the misfire didn't move. I check the resistance in each coil pack and they were fine along with the fuel injectors. watching the voltage outputs for the 02 sensors on my reader I have leaned to that being the problem because my misfires seem to be all on the same bank that has cylinders 2,4, and 6 and if I remember right bank 2s down stream (may be wrong) 02 sensor was switching from lean to rich voltage reading very rapidly while bank 1 was constant between .7-.9 volts.
