Hey Guys -
I have a stock 2008 v8 4x4 and was wondering if anyone has went with a more aggressive stands without lifting the truck? Also if you have any rubbing issues, etc.
I was thinking of getting the tires to stick out more out of the wheel wells - i already purchased, painted etc fender flares that stick out about 3.5"
Also I did see the sticky but it doesnt get into offsets etc. - Just what you guy have done and hoping for pictures to get an idea
Also would be open to a slight lift if i dont have much of a choice.
Thanks,
John

There's not a hell of a lot of room for lower offsets on these Dakotas. I think some guys had zero offset wheels, that's the lowest that I can remember. Those lower offsets gotta stress the already weak front end these trucks have, be prepared for that. You'd definitely need some lift for a decent size tire.
Check out this thread for some offset info from some members.

I called around and guy from one of the major online wheel & tire shops was saying I could do a -6 offset. Which would bump the wheel out about an 1"
Also i was looking at the 2" wheel spacers but I would imagine either way its putting alot of stress on everything.
