Default 2006 Dodge Dakota rear bumper problem

When I brought the truck someone had removed the rear bumper and put a cap there. I took the cap off and there is nothing there to bot the new bumper on to the frame. What part is missing. I've hear people call it a cross tube. Picture is attached.

Thanks,

Jared

It is what people call a cross tube - check the sticky at the top and go to the Body Builders Guide. You can get a drawing of what you are looking for, I can't find a part number, but you can search through the online parts shops and find it.

This is also your trailer hitch (just add a receiver tube that bolts on to it).

Search these Dodge part numbers:

With tow package - 52013184AD (One Link)

Without tow package - 52013334AD (One Link)

6 bolts are needed (3 on each side) to mount it - Dodge part # 6508014AA (One Link)

Pictures will look exactly the same (most likely). Now I'm assuming it comes with the brackets on the ends, where the bumper mounts onto.
