Default Can anyone tell me what these hoses are?

I just bought this 2005 Dakota. Everything seems to run fine, but I noticed these 2 hoses weren't connected to anything. One of them connects to the Air filter box. The other is underneath the hose that connects to the air filter box. The bottom hose connects to a T, where it continues to run across the engine. The other part of the T is that newer looking hose that runs down kind of behind the engine.

I apologize for my ignorance, but shouldn't these hoses be connecting to something?

Edit: Ok, so I've found that the tube coming from the air box should be connected to the CCV tube. It seems that there is some tubing missing here. Prob gonna take it to the dealership to figure this one out. There's also a TSB for the PCV tubing on these as well, I believe.

On my 3.7L V6 as seen above, the hose coming out of the the air filter box is branched through a T-fitting, with each output going into the top of each cylinder head vent close to the firewall.

If in your photo, the line that goes up and out of view of the frame is connected to the driver-side cylinder head vent, and if the other hose leading to the left that appears to go "behind" the engine is connected to the passenger-side cylinder head vent, then if our trucks are plumbed alike, that loose hose coming out of the air filter box should be connected to that loose hose coming out of the T-fitting.

As it appears now (if I understand your photo correctly), both your crankcase vents are just drawing in unfiltered air through that open tube on the bottom, instead of filtered air coming through the tube out of the air filter box.
