fuel tank vent? can't fill at full flow from pump
Vapor canister.
I was putting the jetski in the water a few years back and half submerged the back end of the truck. As soon as the next time i went to fill up it it would just trigger the autoshutoff after 2 or 3 seconds. Pretty much took me about 20 minutes to fill my tank every time. After after as much scouring the internet as I could handle hoping to fix it myself, they took it to the shop and found out that it was the vapor canister which is located on top of the gas tank I assume had a crack in it and became waterlogged as when I took it off, it was about 15 pounds heavier than the new one. Fueling issie solved for a total of a few serious headaches and about $350
