how to disarm 2007 dodge dakota security?

I only have one key to the pickup I just bought and each time I lock it and then try to unlock with the key the alarm goes off once I open the door. Can you help in any way? Thank You

pull the fuse, or if you have a fob, remove battery from fob.

Disconnect your battery overnight, that may reset the security system. These trucks show strange electrical issues when the battery gets weak, if it's over 3 years old, it may need replacing.
