Default Radio Replacements

Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement radio for an 08 Dakota. Gone through 2 factory radios and now looking for an after market radio that will last.

Pioneer AVH-4200NEX is what I own. Might be different model numbers now, but look at 4000 series. You don’t need built in navigation. I had mine installed with the parking brake bypass (can - but don’t - watch videos while driving), and with 1x HDMI, 1x aux, 2x USB extension cables to center console. Music and video stored on SD card (good if you like FLAC music files), and I use my iPhone for maps through built-in CarPlay. Would like to get the maestro unit at some point down the road, we’llsee...

Or I could probably part ways with my stock radio, RES series, if you want...

What features do you want in the radio? Plenty of good brands - Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer, to name a few. Features will be your challenge, especially if you want satellite radio and navigation. I wanted both; so, I upgraded to the UConnect RHR 730N. Technically, it's a factory radio, but was never an option in the Dakota.
