Default Trouble Starting when Warm

Hi all, I have a 2006 Dakota with the 3.7L V6 and 147K on the clock and it seems to have trouble starting when warm. The story goes like this, car starts fine when cold, runs good up and down the rpm range with no hesitation. The idle does bobble a little here and there, not bad but noticeable. The problem is when the truck is warm and has sat for 10-20 minutes. It will crank well but not catch, giving gas doesnt seem to help and when it does catch it revs up for a second and runs fine once running. No codes have been thrown. I got the battery tested about 6 months ago and it passed. My only other thought is a sensor. thanks in advance for the help.

You might have a fuel system that is bleeding pressure off too quickly. You could try turning the ignition key to on and off a few times to prime the system and then try starting it to see how it starts.

Check and/or replace Plugs.
