I recently had the airbag recall service on my dodge dakota (2005). All of a sudden I now have an airbag light on my instrument cluster??

 

You take your vehicle to the dealer for an air bag recall service. They perform the recall. You get the vehicle back. All the sudden you have an airbag light on. The first thing you do is post here? Why not call the dealer and ask to bring it back in??? lol

 

Definitely take back to the dealer that performed the airbag service. Could be that disturbing the clock-spring caused the light to come on. I have had both of my airbags recall done and everything was fine, so something happened while they were in there. Let them take care of it, should not cost you anything,

 

This happened to me also. Dealer pulled my vehicle up, I got in to go home but noticed the air bag light on. They took it back in for another 15 min and it was all good.
