I have a 2006 4.7L Slt and i was wondering if any of you guys out there know of any parts that are interchangable with other engines that may add power to this one. I only recently got the truck and i am researching a lot and i was hoping i could get some more info here. What parts from the junkyard are gonna help the truck. Any parts whatsoever, but preferably engine components. Such as what kind of engines share the same fuel injectors? Same spark plugs? Better throttle body? Same intake? Maybe one that has a better intake? What im basically asking is what parts will bolt onto this engine that are better than stock.

 

The HO cams, if you can find them, and the PCM to go with them. No idea what year range they were, but, they make hens teeth look downright common. Aside from that, aftermarket is your only other choice.
