I have 2007 Dakota, four door, 3.7 liter, short bed, 5.5’, can I switch the bed out for a longer one?
Maybe the bed from a two door truck.

 

No, that's not doable. Unless, that is, you're really experienced in fabrication work.

Yes, but you must cut the wheel arch to fit the rear wheels in a different location, and then have the new, longer bed sticking way out past the rear end. I think you should add another rear end to make it a 6x6. Its the only way it will look right
