Default Brake pedal

I recently discovered a bad wheel cylinder the abs and brake light came on so I changed the wheel cylinder and bleed the brakes. I still have a fading pedal at a stop and when I pump it it gets hard and functions properly. I have no leaks and master cylinder is full with no leaks what is the issue? Thanks for the help

Did you adjust the rear shoes back up?

Thats usually a sign of failed master cyl. A bad brake hose, Or brake fluid gone bad. Have you flushed the fluid?

Clarify. Fading brake pedal or soft pedal? If you pump it up to a firm pedal will it stay firm or fade again if you keep holding?
