Aftermarket speakers

I can't figure out how to mount new speakers in my 2007 dodge Dakota

2007 st cab and a half

I got them from crutchfield it showed they fit my truck but with gasket I used bolts that came with it the bolts would not fit in factory hole bolts were to long ugh

So you need shorter screws is all? You already have the door panels off, etc? Call crutchfield and see what they say. Excellent customer service.

jus get some stainless self tapping screws and power drive through the new holes into the metal. be careful, so you don't split the outer-most speaker ring. then replace interior door panel and done.
