Is there any way to shorten the steering column an inch or two in a Gen-3 Dakota? The steering wheel intrudes far too much towards the driver's seat, and I think it would be lots more comfortable to drive if I could get it a little closer to the dash.

 

Not without some serious custom fab work........

 

I'm sure there is a way if you have the skills or want to pay someone.
