Default 2005 Dodge Dakota power window

The front passenger side window of my 2005 Dodge Dakota will not roll up or down with neither the driver side or passenger side door switches. The lock/unlock button still works on the affected door, though. My first mind says it's likely the motor or regulator, but I would like to know if there are any common problems or fixes for the issue before replacing any parts. Thanks in advance.

Currently have a similar problem on my 2006 Dakota. If the motor was broken or malfunctioned the window would slide down. It could also be some broken window components because they are all made of plastic. My guess would be a wiring issue

Have you checked the fuses? can you hear any noise when you hit either switch? Most of the common problems are due to the window seals letting water fill the surprisingly water tight door.

Sorry I never followed up, but thank you all for your input. I ended up getting a new unit and it works perfectly, and installation was pretty simple. Only issue is it makes the other windows look slow. I guess I'll be needing to replace those eventually.
