Default Power restart while driving

I have an 05 Dakota with the V8 engine and manual transmission. Recently it started stalling and coming back on while I'm driving as if I had turned the key to accessory and then back on quickly. What would cause this issue? I hear different things like battery, alternator, ignition switch or cylinder, pcm, etc. Can anyone help me narrow it down?

Update: I've replaced the battery and battery terminals as well as the ignition switch and it's still happening. What else can cause the issue?

Start with battery connections. You have the vehicle with you so you will have to troubleshoot and narrow it down on your own.

Thank you. I've been testing with a multimeter and the alternator and battery are good, however the battery is getting replaced anyway to upgrade. I've narrowed it down to the ignition or (unlikely) the pcm. I'm banking on the ignition as occasionally my radio will refuse to power off when I shut off the truck and the other components seem healthy according to my multimeter. Maybe the two issues are both caused by a bad switch.

Switch sounds like it is starting to go bad.

That's weird. You could start with inspection the battery stuff. Check for loose or corroded connections. Do not discount possible damaged battery. I had one which was drained and it froze. It worked fine for awhile. Discovered there being a problem driving down the road, hit a bump; lights flickered, engine sputtered, then everything carried on as normal. Inspection lead to the find that the battery post was loose internally, wiggled side to side. Hold one side, battery worked great; hold to other side, battery circuit opened as if no battery.
imho - battery or associated wiring, or ignition switch or associated wiring.
