Anyone out here have a wiring diagram for a 2010 Dodge Dakota twilight sentinel auto headlight were it turns the headlights on and off depending on the daylight availability I am working on installing the system. And does anyone know of they ever made Dodge hard copies of the factory service manuals for 2010 or are they only on DVD ....Carmen

 

They're only on DVD. I'm told in Feb or so they'll offer the TSM and wiring diagrams together on a single thumb drive, same as they do for the 2005-7.

 

Thanks for the feed back very frustrating how Chrysler and some of the other manufactures are very difficult when you want to obtain general information regarding a specific model even the dealers are having a hard time if its not in the vin number # they are caught off guard still hoping someone has the above wire diagram.

 

You might get lucky if you check the 2005 FSM (Download Link is Below), the wiring may have the same color & pinouts throughout the whole 3rd Gen.

Otherwise, the 2008 FSM (actual books) are available on Ebay, and nothing should have changed between 08-10.

 

1. Something that may be giving them a problem is that the automatic headlight feature wasn't really designed to be added after the factory build. I suspect this feature is more than just a hardware swap. There is likely to be a software configuration in the TIPM computer that has to be updated. Though I don't know this to be a fact, so you might want to lookup that angle before you invest a lot of time into the update.

2. FCA publishes electrical diagrams for the dealers. If you encounter a parts / service manager who needs help doing the lookup, you might want to check out a different dealership whose training is up to date.
