Damn, I go to work for 2 days and miss all the action haha. Think I misspoke (mistyped?) that the wheels spin faster: my puny mind was thinking that engine speed is higher for a given vehicle speed in 4lo. One of these days I will catch up on some sleep.

Back to the original post, I am still thinking this is a misuse of 4x4, rather than system/component failure. Winter driving bites us all.
