he is right, your fix is a band aid. there is a reason they don't use hose clamps on fuel or cooling systems....they loosen and leak. Not just fca...every auto manufacturer...they don't want to get sued.
So put on crimps and it's good? Think thats the preferred method for fuel lines.
Looks like a good band aid remedy, I guess the next owner can deal with the actual problem.

Funny...I was going to ask if he was going to inform the buyer of the "repair". I'm not a fan of rigged repairs; but, some people don't mind. Seems the better thing to do...let the buyer decide if they care, rather than sneaking it on them.
