I've been replacing everything on my front end with Moog parts but now shopping for a rack and pinion I want to make sure I get a very good one.

2006 Dakota SLT 2wd four door.

Recommendations?

 

Used a BBB reman unit. Works pretty good. Was a super tight fit with the 4wd though, so you should have an easier time. I also used new hoses and a new pump, as the rack and pump were making all kinds of noise. New hoses just cuz, now my steering system is basically all new. And those fittings on the hoses were in pretty rough shape when they came out, kind of glad I did it all.

 

I put a Cardone reman in mine last month. So far, so good. A mechanic friend was telling me for the best job he knew a shop that would rebuild mine.
