Default 2005 Dakota transmission cooler fun

Decided I would add another transmission cooler to the Dakota. I plan on some towing in the near future and its about time for a tranny service. Want new cooler before service. Ordered a Derale 13504 cooler from Etrailer.com. They said your gonna need the Derale 13030 fitting kit with that. bought it and got it. Came time for the install. Built brackets for the cooler. Aluminum angle and since I do residential refrigeration, I used some compressor rubber feet from a Whirlpool compressor to space the cooler out and give it some shock absorption. Time to hook up lines. The 13030 kit was wrong for my truck. Called Etrailer. Guy was WAY more than helpful. He said all he shows for my truck is that part number for fittings. He double checked everything then said you may want to shoot Derale an email. I did. Derale emailed the next day. Somewhere in the 2005 model year Dodge switched fittings for the transmission, much like GM uses. Slide in with an Eclip. Mine has these. Derale is going to send a GM adaptor to see if that will work. He also talked about other options for the connections by bypassing factory cooler. Hats off to both these places for the customer service.
