Default 05 Dakota & Torque app question

I've been googling this and I haven't been able to find a 100% answer. I have 05 Dakota with an android Headunit with the torque app installed. Is it possible to have torque display the transmission temperature and current gear? Or does the 545rfe tranny computer not capable of reporting this?

Thanks!

There is a custom PID that will give you transmission temperature, but as far as I am aware there is not a way to get it to report the current gear, but I haven't looked for any new PID's for a while.

I'm not by the truck to check if this matches my equation exactly, but I think these are the directions I used https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f67/...-temp-4025474/

Hmm I tried that and it wouldn't read, just gave me a dash (-) for a readout?
