Default Stereo install

2006 Dakota Crewcab 4X4
So I installed a modern bluetooth Pioneer stereo and ran the red "hot" to the lighter as recommended as I couldnt find a fuse that was "power on Acc/run" to make a circuit.
It worked but now when I hook up dash cam, phone charger and play radio, the radio flashes on and off a constantly but doesn't lose power or station, just annoying!
is there a way to run a additional lighter/power outlet for phones/dashcam and backseat passengers?
Thanks in advance.

Sure. Use fuse taps and run wires and you can put accessory outlets wherever you want them.

Cant find a fuse to tap to, tried the IOD which is for the radio but when I'd put the "creat a curcuit" fuse line in it would turn to a constant power line. Trying to figure of a "spare" slot can be use or an alternate "acc/run" circuit can be used!

IIRC, the accessory outlet fuse can be turned around so it only on when the ignition is on. It’s the fuse box under the hood.

There is a power source under your middle seat. The 2 wire connection is underneath a lump of carpet, which you will need to cut open. It is always 'hot', not turning on & off with your ignition. You can tap into it and run wires to wherever you want. The wires are placed there for use with the Power Outlet in the large floor center console, which I assume you do not have.

The Red arrow points to the lump that needs to be cut open to access the wires. And yes, I did cut it open in the picture.
