There were some issues with vibration at 60+ mph. That's been the main issue. Most of the time it turns out to be the wheels. If you get it brand new, make sure that you order newer wheels with it.

There was suppose to be some kind of recall for the steering column. That's all I know of.

Otherwise, these trucks a durable as all get out. I love my truck and its the second Dakota I've owned. I'll probably never change to another truck, unless if Dodge in all of their great wisdom, discontinues them or something.

There's also an issue with the door handle not being even on the Quad Cab. Don't worry about it though, I haven't been able to notice..

Wh... What do you mean, uneven? I haven't noticed.

Oh yeah, there is also a weather stripping issue on the QCs. On the right rear side window, they seem to be loose or not glued on right. Nothing major, just make sure you catch it if you can.

It's funny you mentioned that,I had the same issue on minel, but it was my rear left,I just pushed down on the strippingit till it snaped into place. Also the in side hand catch (door handle) driverside wasn't installed properly it kinda buckeled the door molding,I took it out & re installed it.
Just minor things that were missed @ the factory, other that that I love my truck.

If I was you I would get the new R/T,man now they look really sweet,I wish I waited.
Best of luck Amanda20.
