I have a 2005 dakota just got error code in place of odometer. Guy at shop said needs a circuit board.
anyone have this problem. 130,000 miles

 

entire cluster gauge needs to be replaced, or you can try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and see if it resets itself, if not then a new cluster will have to be ordered

A new cluster has fixed this issue for other members. Read this.

Get a cluster on Ebay (Like this one or this one) and replace it yourself, or have a mechanic do it for you. It's not too difficult to replace it yourself. The mileage displayed won't match your mileage though, which will need to be corrected by a dealership or these guys can do it for you. Search Ebay, there are tons of clusters available, maybe you can find one with mileage close to yours.
