That's nice milage! I wish I has an ethanol-free option that was convenient to me. I only know of one about 15 miles from me, but I'm seldom in the area. I use to use an app that would tell me where to find ethanol-free.

Default Mileage run but no records set....

Headed to Jax approx 20.1mpg
Headed back to ATL approx 19.8mpg

I had to make a run from Atlanta to Jacksonville, FL and back and wanted to try another mileage run. I took the interstate for half the trip down with cruise set to 65. The other 150 miles were rural state highways running 55-65 mph. I did probably far too many passing sprints into the 80s.

The return trip should have been better but had about 40 miles of stop and go errands in Jax before I even left so it reduced the overall average on the tank.

I don't think I could ever get 22.9 again with the tire and gear combo but 21-22 might be possible. I'm willing to bet 25mpg is doable on a 3.55 geared, 2wd truck with good 16" highway tires.

Looks like you got some great mileage! Not every mod I did to my truck helped improve the mileage, but I’m very happy to be getting in the 20’s. I was so tired of 17.9mpg.

Default Just my 2 cents

Im driving an 05 Dak 3.7 4x4 3:55 gears 89k on the odo. I got her in Oct, she sat till January. I ran a bottle of fuel injector cleaner I got from Walmart through it, super ****ty milage on that tank, then I ran a can of Sea Foam through it, changed the plugs and coils, put a set of 267/70 R16 Goodyear Wranglers on it. Other than that, shes stock. Last 2 tanks were just over 22 mpg average and thats all just around town. No highway. Ive been very pleasantly surprised with the milage especially considering I was driving a Corolla every day getting 30+.

Wow! That's great milage for a 4x4! I did the Sea Foam before the mods, but didn't really help mine. I was still under 18 mpg. May try new coils in the future to see if I can get more mpg's.

It was unexpected for sure. I dont make a habit out of keeping my gas receipts but Ill try to remember to next time. Just running QT gas 87 octane. Was actually planning on doing the fuel pump at the end of this tank (because the truck sat in Montana for so long) so I gotta run her real low. May be a while.
