Leaf spring hanger help
You should be able to get shackle kits from Dorman and leaf spring bushings from Moog through a good local auto supply.I use a 4" die grinder to cut the old away and torch any seized bushings to soften the rubber part then press the rest out then cut what's left out of the eye of the spring. After cleaning the eye of the spring of any rust the new bushings get a smear of grease then easily pressed in using a ball joint press, which you can rent from the store if you don't have one.Or you can take the truck to a local truck spring shop where they will do it all for you.Up to you depending on your skills and level of experience.
Trust me I've tried. Shackles no problem. Cn get them everywhere but no forward hangers. Mine are welded, no bolts or rivets. I've called around. Nothing. I cannot be the only one with this issue. Was hoping someone else had maybe modified another year or found a source
If you're a decent fabricator, can get some universal off road hangars. Just measure the inside width and make sure other measurements match. They may even offer bolt on but I'm on the road so can't check.
Places like blue torch fab, ballistic fab, barnes4wd or similar.
they are best upgraded anyway so you don't have to do it again.
