Default 2011 dakota trx4 parts question

I have a 2011 dodge dakota trx4 and I find it hard to verify what parts fit. I am looking for a cold air Intake for the 4.7 magnum. And does anyone know if the 2010 model would be interchangeable with the 11? Everything I have read it seems like there were no changes in this year. Thanks

Nothing changed in 2011, Dodge knew it was over for the Dakota well before the 11's were being built. FWIW, I had an Airaid CAI on my Dak, but ditched it because I couldn't hear my awesome exhaust as clearly with the CAI.

Welcome aboard.

Awesome. I saw those but I preferred the k&n since I have enjoyed them on previous 4.7 models. But on their website they only go up for the 2010 so I’m glad that it will fit on the 2011.

So far as I know, the cold air intakes do nothing for performance, as the factory system already IS a 'cold air' system..... Given the cost of them fellers..... I have never bothered with one.

Didn't know the TRX4 was offered in 2011. But, as far as I know, everything that fit on a 2010 will fit on a 2011. There were some deletions earlier on in the series, like heated mirrors, that won't work without significant modification. But, some of the 2010 features that weren't offered in 2011 are plug-n-play in the 2011, like the auto-dimming rear view mirror.

thanks for the input. My main concern is the strut assembly and making sure the older models fit but it sounds like there wasn’t much change.
