Default 4.7 build/weak points

I like to be itching for a pain the a**. Would like to build my 4.7. nothing fancy for now just a casual build as it goes. Starting with addressing the weak points that make people feel these are junk. Personally had no ill experience with one. My first time owning one but a buddy had one for 10+ years with no issues at all, atleast major. Im aware of not over heating them, and i think i read something about the valve train or something going bad? All and any input is appreciated.

I updated my cams throttle body and injectors left the stock bottom end and push a 125 shot of nitrous through it, finally blew up after 218000 miles I also raced my truck. .

Might be able to grab the cams cheap looking at the HP ratings between the two im guessing there will be some gains

If you have the VIN, you can look it up here: https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing
