front end

Default front end

i have change out everything under the front end of my dodge dakota 2006 and still have a clunking noise.and when i say everything i mean everything.it help muffle the sound a good bit but still when you go over like rumble bumps it's a little bumping noise like a bad shock.but i just can't figure it out.any other clues hints out there

Check the shock bolts. They are supposed to be torqued to some truly stupid value.... (100 ft/lbs? more??) Notorious for that kind of behavior.

thank you,but i did that yesterday evening at are local mechanic shop just to get it up in the air to recheck everything and make sure things where tight.but he did hint around having a bad strut even though they are new.which i put them and the new links on the sway bar. the upper and lower ball joint and also new hubs was done by them.just can't believe the new struts could be bad.

Did they replace the strut mounts as well? (not even sure if your truck has 'em.....)

just talk to another local mechanic and he said it sound like your strut has lost all of it's gas,,and now trying to get intouch with rockauto to see if i have any warranty on them or if i had any on them...
