I use it when my toy is down for repairs or upgrades.





I want to lift the truck but there is only 2 lift kits (1 being body and 1 being an outrageously expensive suspension) so I'll wait.

 

i've gone mudding in mine, but i haven't done much off roading other then that.

 

i've gone mudding i've got the 3.7L and it does just fine. i also have a four wheeler and i brought it into the woods in 3 or4 inches of snow and it was awesome. what suspension lift kit is available?

 

I've used mine to haul my whitewater raft down some moderate dirt roads, but nothing like that.

After seeing those pics, I'm a little less worried about the ground clearance.... thx

 

I don't 4X4, but I do have a little fun with it in the mud or on some terrain type ground, but very minor stuff. I want to keep my truck in good shape for show type stuff.

Mostly my 4wd gets used for getting around in winter, and occasionally chasing cattle on my family's farm when I'm there on weekends. I have taken my pickup through some of the tricky spots in a ravine in a pasture there, and some backroads exploring, but nothing too serious. I figure if I want to get really lost I can load the KLR up and drive the pickup to a nice unloading spot, then take the bike from there.
