i look at it this way...the less the dealer experiments with our trucks the better off we are... they have no clue about fixing 90% of the problems everyone is having...i will deal with it till they have a definate fix....mine is only when i heat the brakes(like comming off an off ramp)

Yeah i've had that problem too. I have an 05 3.7L 4X4 and i get the vibration above 60 or coming off a ramp. The dealer turned the rotors. make sure your tires are balanced and the correct air pressure is in the tire.

I got it too. First trip the dealer, they couldn't figure out what it was. They turned the rotors but it didn't help. Did I read on another forum that there was a TSB out for this? Anyone know?

I had the same problem. I took it in and they replace the rotors and the pads. I haven't had that problem since.

Actually the problem is the rear drums and the rear axle shafts. I took mine in also thinking it was the front brakes. The dealer knew about the problem and I guess it is pretty common on the Daks. He said Dodge isnt sure what is causing it, but they replaced the drum assembly and covers, and put in new axle shafts in.

The truck rides like butter now. I didnt even have to ask about it, they readily knew about and Dealers are supposed to fix them as they come in until Dodge can figure it out and possibly do a recall.

My vibrations were coming from the front of the truck. I wouldn't know anything about the back end, other than there has been problems with the steel wheels causing some serious problems with vibrations.

Some one on another forum posted the information. There is a new TSB out on it. It is TSB# 05-044-05 Rev. A, 8 November 2005 (There is an earlier TSB without the "A" which is this one replaces). As someone noted, they basically replace the axles, turn drums, etc. I'm waiting to take mine in now. Local dealer seemed to know all about it.
