Hi guys,

I am new to this site - hopefully i picked the sub forum. I recently purchased a 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT. Apparently the previous owner has running boards and a trailer hitch installed. I have been trying to locate a hitch will will fit but they all have different mounting brackets. The truck I have has 2 inch dia holes in the bumper mounting brackets, which seems to had the trailer hitch mounted to it. Where can I find the correct trailer hitch? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OEM can be had at local salvage yards. Otherwise, I would start at etrailer.com.

 

Curt makes a receiver kit that bolts right in around 30$ then I think they also make the wiring kit and you just disconnect the stock lights and connect theirs in line about 20$ its all just bolt on pluig and play
