Default 2009 Dakota bighorn 3.7 v6 4wd

I replaced the left front wheel bearing hub assembly . this new unit has the speed sensor already installed in it. Now the cruise control will not work at all. the cruise light on the dash won't even come on. the cruise control worked perfectly before i replaced the hub unit.
I checked all the fuses and came to find out there is not one fuse labled "cruise control". there is only one fuse box in this truck which is located on the driver side under the hood. Why won't the cruise system power up now? Is there anyone out there that has had the same problem? Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do. Help would be great.

Does your truck have ABS? Would think a wheel speed sensor fault would throw a brake/ABS light fault also.

I have cruise control issues on my last Dakota which turned out to be the rear output speed sensor on the transmission. Took five mins to replace and caused no other issues. No cruise was only symptom.

Maybe the electrical system just needs a reset after changing out the speed sensor? Could try leaving the negative cable from the battery disconnected overnight.

If the battery negative was not kept disconnected during the sensor swap, it may have caused the computer to believe there was a fault in the sensor circuit when the old one was disconnected.
