Default Help No start, my worktruck, losing bussiness

My 2005 Dakota 4x4 \4.7L v8 Magnum was running like a top I was wirimg some new headlights. It stalled , i finished doimg the lights, thinking" I can always use my jumper ack to restart if the battery gets soft" But now have no crank, no shift selector icons on the
dash display amd I have charged and even changed the battery, tried starting with and without the jump pack and charger. PLEASE HELP>>>>>

Something shorted. Check all fuses. Make sure your battery connections are tight.

Checked and re-checked. Swapped battery for one I had onthe reconditioner all day, It was running perfect just before. I just knw i my heart its something simple , bt the code reader wont make contact with the truck now,.

What work was involved with the headlight swap? Did you have to hack wiring? Did you disconnect the battery during the install? Kind of hard to guess over the internet.

yes, cut wiring, but just right near the bulb sockets. disconnected the battey also
