Rear pinion seal dilemma?
So the rear pinion seal went by by. I think I caught it early. Was about 1 qt left in there but no weird sounds or feels.
When I changed the pinion seal. I made my alignment marks. One managed to get rubbed off but had good eye on where it was at. Then the rear shift and front moved up a tad. Anyway, long story short, it's not perfectly aligned.
It's probably 10-15 degrees off but no more.
Pumped out most the old oil put in 2 it's.
Seemed to drive fine. Would that alignment being off cause any problems?
Any thoughts are appreciated
