Hey guys I’m stumped.
I have a 2010 bighorn 4wd 120000 on the dash
I’ve had the lifters replaced, rockers replaced, new cams installed, new timing chain and tensioners replaced.

the truck has a constant tapping that follows the rpm’s.

has anyone had this issue?
the truck has had regular maintenance it’s whole life.

any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Is it a tapping or a clicking? Clicking could be an exhaust manifold, which does follow the RPMs and is also more noticeable under load (towing, hauling, accelerating, etc).

 

It sounds more like a tap than a click
but it’s not strong enough for me to consider it a knock.
