Were rear sway bars standard on 3rd gen. Dakotas?

If that is the case, I do not have one. I'm thinking it must have been removed at some point as I do have a custom dual-exhaust.
I wonder if I can put one back in and don't interfere with the duals. I do not know though if this would also depend on the type of rear-end either. Mine is a 4x4 and I do have a "commercial" 3:92 or 3:95 anti-spin rear end with about 12 bolts in the cover. (If my memory serves me right when I looked at the build sheet).

Don't know about all years, but my 2006 had one.

Believe they removed them on 2008 and later. I added one to my 2011. Just used a 2005 bar and brackets. Drilled a hole in the rear frame to bolt the end links to. The welded mount points for the rear end links were also removed on 2008 and later models.

Removing will help off-roaders and soften it up some.

If you drive on asphalt and want to keep steering response and handling, keep them.

I believe this topic refers to the front sway bar. I was referring to the rear sway bar though.
