I know this topic has def been beaten to death a good few times, but since i recently have decided to add a bull bar to my Dakota i know its just easiest to cut the bolt heads off and pull it thru the top, though instead of dropping over 150 dollars on bolts, isolators n such, would it be possible to simply buy a long bolt, a couple nuts, some washers and rubber inserts and use them instead? Or do i just have to bite the bullet and see if i cant at least salvage the isolators? If possible ill document what i can and share my findings.
