Yeah. Another one of these threads
Hi all. Long time member (had 2006 4.7 since new). Just had to re-register (I used to be “rookie”)
I noticed the issue bc the multi function switch was malfunctioning. Weird turn signals, and slow wipers. Then most of the gauges would die. Then the 4wd started auto shifting. It does it with the door opening and closing too
So I’ve read most of the info out there, and I know there are issues with the 4wd switch and solenoid, the front control module, and the MFS. My symptoms could be from any or all of these
Im just wondering if I’m thinking right to suspect FMC, because it seems to be the common link with all the issues
other than that it’s a fault in a connector or ground that I haven’t found
how worried should I be about those giant exposed harness connectors behind the drivers front fender liner? They definitely get weather
could just check the sensor in the 4wd solenoid, but that would not affect the MFS, would it?
