I recently did a filter and fluid on my '11 DAK with the 42RLE transmission and the pan looks like it has some type of coating on the inside of it. I had an 08 DAK with the same trans and didn't see this on that one. Anybody have any ideas? It also has a few blisters in the coating that haven't opened up and I didn't try to pop them because I didn't want it to start peeling off inside the trans, I would think the pan would have to be blasted to get all the coating off. The pics show the coating and this is at 50K.
