05' Extreme cold no start - Now fuel dripping from resonator weeping hole
Carbon is conductive and can create a short path for the spark that causes a misfire. I would check all the plugs. If it turns out to only be on one bank, or not too many cylinders, I can see if I can find the handful of good injectors I kept from the last dakota I worked on. New plugs and new injectors on any of the trouble cylinders should make sure a new cat doesn't burn up.
