So, I have a very slow steering fluid leak in my rack and pinion on my 2011 Dakota. I'm interested in recommendations for which rack and pinion to get.
RockAuto lists 3 options:
BBB Industries (Remanufactured)
Mopar (Remanufactured)
Edelmann (can't tell if it's new or remanufactured)
The reman Mopar is ridiculously expensive. Anyone familiar with Edelmann or BBB? Or, any other recommendations?
The Edelmann power steering racks on rockauto say they are "100% new".
If you are adventurous you could also rebuild it yourself. I'd only recommend it for the passenger side though. If the leak is on driver side, it's easier to just buy a new one.
haha...not that adventurous. But, having it new and "improved" is appealing. Just hoping that someone on here has some experience with this one or different option.
