So the full bore restoration is underway. It's weird to see her so naked. But progress is good so far and not been too bad on labor. Old parts are being replaced with new "performance" focused parts as things get stripped for cleaning.

Just providing a update that was requested when I first announced this project.

 

So the wonderful news is the trucks been reassembled and is back home! I took her out on the trail to celebrate! So far she and I have been just working out teething problems from such a large project. Stage one is complete, she's essentially brand new in every critical way. This winter I'm gonna do some customizing and preference mods. Now 137k miles young and she is spritely. Almost completely different behavior than when I bought her at auction.
