Intermittent check engine lights
I have a 2006 Laramie 4x4 with 295000 miles on it. I recently replaced the transfer case shift motor and switch that solved it shifting itself into 4 low. After that the check engine light came on and it showed P0700, and the transmission temperature light came on. I took it to a transmission shop and they replaced the Powertrain control module back on 8/15. Today I drove it about 40 miles to a furniture store. When I tried to start it I got nothing, no click or anything when trying to start. All of the dash lights came on as normal but starter would not engage. I tried shifting into neutral to start it but that didn’t work. It finally started but it seemed like truck was not in first gear when pulling out. As soon as the doors locked the check engine light came on. I pulled into O’Reilly’s and had them check the codes. Again P0700, P0846, P0871, P0876, P0882, & P0988. They checked the alternator and battery and both were good. When I pulled out from O’Reilly’s, it pulled good and shifted good. I turned the air on and now it is like the fan motor is stuck in low. Stopped for gas and check engine light went off, still shifts good, and air is blowing fine. Anyone else ever had the intermittent check engine light?
