So I have a 08 4x4 4.7 Dakota and I swamped it, hydro locked it, threw a rod or something and want to swap it with something better and possibly manual swap it. anyone ever swap a 08 from a 4.7 with a 545rfe to a manual with a 5.7 hemi or a 360 magnum?

 

Hemi swaps have been done. Look at the "sticky" threads at the top of this section. A 360 swap is a step backwards. Why not just find another 4.7? Much cheaper and easier.

 

That will fit a 4.7 4x4 has anyone done it
