Default 4x4 issues 2005 3.7

Im having an issue with my 4x4 not engaging, the light just flashes in either 4 high or low, i just replaced the t case motor due to it shifting when the car is off and afterwards it seemed to work fine, ive checked my fuses and looked around a bit online and cant seem to find anyone else having a similar issue, i also checked for voltage at the connector to the shift motor and it has a full 12.7V, i have not done a load test yet to see if there is voltage drop in the system but i will try that tomorrow, if anyone has any other ideas please let me know

are you shifting 4hi while rolling? usually flashing with no service light just means shift in progress.

with the power on but not engine started you should hear it shifting when you select 4x4.

i understand, but it doesn't, i am having an issue with my btsi solenoid being constantly active and i was looking through the wiring diagram and saw that it is included after the 4wd selctor switch, is there any way that those 2 are connected?

Just checked, the transfercase motor is not the issue, plugged a new shift motor in at the auto parts store and that one wouldn't turn either
