Congrats on the new truck. You'll love it.

I never thought of doing that the way you did by going online first... but then again, I did get a hell of a deal on my truck.

I got told by my dealership manager that my truck should be here Feb. 21... this would be superb because my birthday is Feb. 12th.. and it'll be my own little present to me.

Ok, so it's technically the 23rd.. and no truck yet.. I'm kind of bummed out... Anyone have any ideas on how long it should take to arrive after the expected ship date?

Most auto haulers have up to a two week grace period for pick up of vehicles. Most pick them up with in 7 days of pick up date. From there it depends on where it was picked up at and where it is going to and if there is one or two drivers for the truck. So at most I would give it about a week from original pick up date plus no more than 4 days.

Since you're in the U.P. it's obviously gonna take longer.
Dealers in smaller cities usually have small stock to begin with. I couldn't imagine how long it'd take to get a "custom built" truck to a small city.

To get a truck around here (in Southeast Michigan) wouldn't take long at all.....geez the Warren plant where they are built (I think) is probably only an hour away....LOL

Then again there are a ton of dealers in the Metro Detroit area & there are a lot of deliveries

*Puts on bitch slapping glove* Dan.. *thwack* I hate Metro Detroit... so many damn dealers vehicles... and I hate the UP now... I was promised it'd be here by now.. and I'm gonna cry.

I also have decided, that I'm going to make my truck into a racing truck... rather than like what everyone wants me to do with it and raise it and such... blah to that... Im gonna get rid of the back seating area, (seats and back wall) and build myself a fiberglass box and amp rack, all for my JL 13w7 and my two Orion amps. hehe. I just cant wait any longer.. Im gonna freak the fug out!!!!!!

Damn finally!

You've got parts already for a truck you don't even have...that's pretty funny.
But congratulations!

Post some pics of this "rig" when you finally get it
