Dakota stalls when turning
My 2006 Dakota 4.7 4x4 6 speed manual 115K mileage, is randomly stalling when I am turning slowly, such as into my driveway. A few days ago it stalled just sitting at a traffic light. It always starts right back up. I cleaned the throttle body. I looked for vacuum lines but don't see any, which I find odd. I was going to replace the fuel filter as it is original since new, and found that there isn't one - it is integrated into the fuel pump inside the tank. I need a better diagnosis before tackling that. I've read about the IAC needing cleaning or replacement, but haven't looked into that yet.
I've owned the truck since new and really haven't had to do any repairs to it in the last 20 years other than a transfer case electronic module. I live in the south so there is basically no rust on it, and it has been garaged much of its life.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, how did you resolve it.
Thanks for any help you can offer!
